ENERGY ASSISTANCE AND FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMS
Energy Assistance
A service that provides heating assistance and assists eligible individuals and families with paying current and delinquent electric bills. Click here to link to the State of MD application for energy assistance, one of the documents required by SHORE UP! before service can be provided.
Emergency Services:
Assists customers with food, housing, medical, financial and other types of crises. Includes one-on-one counseling and referrals to other organizations, such as food pantries.
Tax Preparation:
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free preparation of both state and federal income tax returns (Maryland, Delaware and Virginia) and free e-filing for qualifying families and individuals.
